Staller Estate Winery and Vineyard has only been around since 2008. However, it has been providing memorable experiences featuring the best wines in the state.
This winery and vineyard were born because of the love and passion of the family that runs it. They might have started growing grapes and making wines as an amateur, but they gained valuable experience, leading them to win awards abroad.
If you wish to visit Staller Estate Winery and Vineyard, they are open daily from 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM from June to August. They are only open from Wednesdays to Sundays from September through May.

Von Stiehl is an institution in Wisconsin’s wine industry. This winery has been around since 1967. Around this time, the state had no wineries. Dr. Stiehl, the founder of the winery, lobbied for the creation of a winery license. Since 1981, the winery has been under the Schmiling family.
Apart from the wonderful wines and ciders they produce, Von Stiehl also prides itself with its sustainable practices. They are committed to reducing their carbon footprint.

The Fawn Creek Winery first opened its door in 2011. It is a must-visit spot if you are by the Wisconsin Dells area. Sarah, one of the members of the family who own the place, thought of setting up a winery. And they were able to make this dream come alive.
While their grapes are from Lodi, California, all the other wine-making processes happen at the winery. You can enjoy a variety of wines at The Fawn Creek winery. And on some weekends, there are live music events at this place.
Baileys Run Vineyard

Baileys Run Vineyard’s growth is remarkable. This place, named after the owners’ dog, opened in 2018. However, before their current location, Todd and Janet were able to 3,000 vines on a different property.
This vineyard offers about 30 wine varieties. And if you want a taste of these wines, they have tasting options for their clients. The wine tasting is available daily, unless it gets very busy. If you’re in a big group, it’s best to give them a call ahead of time.
Spurgeon Vineyards & Winery

You can find the beautiful Spurgeon Vineyards & Winery in Southern Wisconsin. In the 1970s, she and her husband bought the land from her parents. By the late 1970s, they started planting grapes on the property. While waiting for the grapes to be ready for harvest, they prepared everything they needed for the winery.
Spurgeon Vineyards & Winery welcomed guests to the vineyard and winery in 1982. Since then, they have produced different types of wines made from grapes, fruits, and mead. If you want to pay them a visit, they are open daily from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Steve Johnson and Maria Milano found the perfect spot for one of their wineries back in 2015. They started planting vines as soon as they could. By 2007, Parallel 4 opened its winery and tasting room.
The winery has undergone several expansions and reconstructions. However, they are still committed to making the best wines made from Cool Climate Grapes.

Baraboo Bluff

Cedar Creek Winery

The place where Cedar Creek Winery sits has a rich history. It was built as a working woolen mill in 1864. In 1972, Jim Pape purchased the property and converted it into a winery. By the 1990s, the Wollersheim family took over and operated the Cedar Creek Winery.
One of the best features of this winery is its limestone underground cellars. It is where the winery stores barrels of wines for aging. Guests are welcome to drop by Cedar Creek winery for tours and tastings.
Three Lakes Winery

Three Lakes Winery has been in business for 50 years. It is now the state’s second oldest winery. The winery started selling Cranberry wines in 1972. Since then, they have been producing wines made from fruits and berries. These wines are free from additional flavorings. They are also gluten-free!
The winery is open all year except during Christmas, New Year, Easter & Thanksgiving. They have a tasting room where visitors can taste their wines for free!

Wollersheim Winery, Distillery and Bistro

Grapes were first planted on the hillside property where the Wollersheim Winery is back in the 1840s. However, Agoston Haraszthy, the man who owned the land, left the state and handed the property to a German immigrant named Peter Kehl.
Robert and JoAnn Wollersheim took over the farm from the Kehl family in 1972. In the 1980s, they hired a winemaker, Philippe Coquard. One of the winery’s breakthrough moments was the release of their Prairie Fumé wine.
With its success as a winery, it also built a distillery and a bistro. All three are open daily, from noon onwards.
Danzinger Vineyards
